Well, where should I begin. I could begin by including the fact that I am a student at Texas Tech University, but somehow I have a feeling that that small bit of information will get me automatically landed on your dumbfuck page. Therefore, I would rather start out by saying that I enjoy your site. I find it very amusing, however not totally true. We are all relatively intelligent and mature people, whether we choose to act like it or not in the name of school pride. I happen to love attending Tech, and I do not see how that would imply that I am a "dumbfuck". Just because I go to Tech I do not think everyone else should. If the people who typically come to this page go to UT or TAMU, and they love it, then that is wonderful and I am happy for them. If you feel comfortable and happy at your school, then that is where you should be. It is also true that it is the best school, because it is the best school for YOU. That does not mean it is the best school for ME. I am not going to sit here and say that my school is better than yours because that is a pointless argument. We will never agree, and it vaguely reminds me of the elementary arguments of "my dad is better than your dad". It is all relative.

The only thing I somewhat resent is the implication that because I go to Tech I have a lower level of intelligence than everyone who attends UT or TAMU. I have friends at both schools, and my boyfriend attends TAMU. My high school GPA, as well as my SAT and ACT scores, were higher than those of all the people I know who go to UT and A&M. That doesn't matter anymore, but I just included it for the sake of making my point. I will not deny that there ARE some pretty stupid people at Tech, (I avoid them as much as possible), but I think we are all smart enough to know that that does not include everyone. I am also not being ridiculous to assume that out of the 80,000+ students at UT and A&M there are some pretty stupid people as well. I am not going to stoop to the level of many of the rants on this page by insulting the individuals who do not share my opinion. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I respect that. And frankly, I don't care if you think your school is better- you should. If you thought my school was better I would wonder what was wrong with you and why you went there if you liked Tech better. I should also include that I am pretty embarrassed by the people at my school who have submitted stupid rants that were obviously not thought out, but products of irrational rage by people who have little or no sense of humor. I think your page is great and it has definitely evoked a smile from this Texas Tech student.
